I loved the size of this unit & the kitchen set-up which enabled us to organise our own breakfast, etc. The rooms were quiet, modern, clean, a good size. I liked the free parking, too. We had 2 nights here and then headed downtown for 2 nights to be "closer to the action." Doral is a nice neighbourhood nearby (not so much Hialeah...) & you get a lot more bang for your buck compared with South Beach, downtown, etc. So as long as you have a car and don't mind a bit of a drive I'd recommend it.

Nothing that can be done, but the location really is "off the beaten track!" It's fairly handy to the airport and the Everglades (one of our activities on our first full day in Miami), but a long way from anything else.

There was always a very strong smell of Marihuana in the entrance / lobby of the building.

Before booking I did look at others reviews. one said that had a great view of the cement factory, I did not see that as I was on the ground floor and I did not come to Miami just to stay inside and look out the window all day. the thing about being in the industry area made it easy getting in and out on the road. The Free Breakfast. I took the Tortilla, put eggs and sausage (the pork, as they also had turkey), added salsa, spinach lettuce, and cheeses. the waffle I took some of the chocolate chips and put them on my waffles. the oatmeal was a bit runny, and brown sugar (but seems like everywhere it is runny way, this happen to be less runny than others). they had cereal. drinks are water, orange juice, coffee, hot water (maybe for tea), apple juice, Milk, skin milk. They have an out door dining area, it was great as everyone seem to have kids, so no smokers there. I'm not sure if you can smoke there or not. I like to eat out side when it is nice out, just hate it to be ruined when some one lights up a cigarette or cigar. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little I did they where nice. they do have a small convent store, price are high, but nice to have in a pinch.

they however didn't have any sprite, 7-up, mist, type of drink in their little store This would be bad if you wanted to walk to places, but uber/lift/taxi would be your key.
